Welcome to The Fabled Forge

Fabled Forge is a collaboration between Mellessa Raymond (of Quantrelle) and Steve Conway. 

Mellessa has 30 years of experience in the fashion industry and is currently an exhibiting artist. Steve is a history teacher with a passion for ancient cultures, costume and jewellery.

It was during a road trip to Melbourne via small country towns that the idea of The Fabled Forge began. Stopping along the way, we visited antique and vintage stores and were struck by the beauty and quality of the preloved pieces we saw. We then realised there was an abundance of items that still had potential to be either restored or repurposed. What if we used our passion for recycling and minimal waste and apply it to redesigning these pieces? We could then be upcycling them back into circulation and not into landfill.

The Fabled Forge began at that moment.
